Over the years I’ve been incredibly inspired by the courage and spirit of clients who have spinal cord injuries.  One of those is Alyson Roth, who became a paraplegic in an accident on the trip home from a summer job with Campus Crusade at Yosemite prior to her senior year at Samford University.

Alyson returned to Samford to complete her degree, became a teacher, earned her master’s degree, moved to California on her own, and has completed mission trips in Central America in her wheelchair.  Now she is an inspirational speaker and  raises funds to provide free wheelchairs to people in less developed countries.

Alyson will appear as a contestant on the CBS program, "The Price is Right" on April 13th.
